

Charles Nkhoma- Director
MSc. Degree in conservation and utilisation of Plant Genetic Resources (PGR) from the University of Birmingham in the Uk with nearly 40years work experience in agriculture and has worked on various plant genetic resources and biodiversity programmes in the Zambian government, Southern African Development Community (SADC) and World Wide Fund (WWF). He has widespread knowledge of Southern Africa and has been involved in the development of the Global Plan of Action for the conservation of PGR and the Global Crop Diversity Trust Strategy for this region as well as the strategy plan for the conservation of crop wild relatives. In 2009, He initiated the establishment of Community Technology Development Trust (CTDT) in Zambia to contribute to fulfilling his lifelong desire to showcase the contribution of farmers to conservation and utilisation of PGR.

Edwin .N. Abwino- Programmes Manager
Bachelors of Arts Degree in Development Studies from Zambia Open University (ZAOU), University of Zambia (UNZA) Diploma in Agriculture Business Management from Natural Resources Development College (NRDC), Certificate in Organic Agriculture Development from Sweden and Kenya. Certificate in Marketing of organic products from Africa obtained from the Netherlands. More than 10 years of experience in fostering agroecological practices, management and implementation of food security and livelihood projects.

Mbumwae Mulundano – Finance and Administration Officer
A Zambian Professional Accountant and member of Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) and member of Forum for Zambian Women Accountants (FZWA) with extensive experience spanning over a decade in NGO and charitable sector organizations. Possess certificates in project management, Non-Governmental Organization financial management, corporate governance, Monitoring and Evaluation and IT.

Joseph Mwitumwa, Seed Production and Marketing Officer
Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences from the University of Zambia and post graduate certificates in Smallholder Engagement in Seed Systems from Wageningen University and Research and in Maize Breeding from the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center with 9 years’ experience in implementing livelihoods projects and seed production and marketing.

Angela Chilopa Mwale - Programmes Assistant
Bachelor of Science Degree in Agribusiness and brings over 16 years of experience coordinating agriculture and livelihoods projects. Her work is rooted in advancing sustainable and resilient farming systems, with expertise in agroecology, crop diversity, and nutrition, promoting the production and consumption of locally adapted, nutrient-rich crops. She is a strong advocate for seed sovereignty, supporting the preservation and dissemination of local seed systems, and has extensive experience in capacity building through training smallholder farmers to enhance their productivity and sustainability. Angela also engages in advocacy and policy influence, championing inclusive seed and food systems that prioritize biodiversity, social equity, and long-term resilience.

Diana Mapulanga- Communications Officer
Bachelor of Mass Communication from the University of Zambia (UNZA) with over five years work experience. She has worked as an intern reporter under the Zambia News and Information Services (ZANIS), Public Relations Intern under the Lusaka City Council and Media Campaign Specialist for Ding Consult Services on a USAID funded project. She brings vast experience in development and implementation of strategic communication initiatives focused on agroecology, climate justice, and farmer-managed seed systems, producing impactful content and advocacy materials that amplify community voices.

Pocress M. Kanyemba- Finance and Administration Assistant
Accounting Technician Diploma II (ATD II) from National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA) and Certificate in Purchasing & Supply Management with Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts and Commerce (EHC) with over five-years work experience in Finance and Procurement in NGO sector including USAID funded projects.

Claricy Muzunda- Chirundu District Field Officer
Bachelor’s Degree in Agribusiness Management from Mulungushi University, Diploma in Animal Science from Natural Resources Development College (NRDC), and a Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation from University of Zambia (UNZA). She has experience working with farming communities, delivering agricultural extension services that support productivity, food security, and livelihoods, with a focus on agroecology, nutrition-sensitive agriculture, and microfinance, strengthening VSLA's and advancing economic empowerment, particularly for women, through integrated and sustainable approaches.

Kenji Stegger Mpande - Chikankata District Field Officer
Diploma in Agriculture , Certificate in permaculture, TAVETA certificate in computer studies , Audit Control expertise (ACE) , Advanced international training program on intellectual property and PGR in Sweden with 4 years work experience.
Mulife Likemeno- Shibuyunji District Field Officer
General certificate of Agriculture from Zambia College of Agriculture in Mpika. He has over 30 years of work experience in the Ministry of Agriculture doing extension work.


Shadreck Kaluba - Rufunsa District Field Officer
Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Health from University of Lusaka (UNILUS), Diploma in Forestry from Zambia Forestry College. A community development facilitator with more that 8 years experience in promoting sustainable utilization of natural resources. A nutrition champion with more than 4 year's experience advocating and promoting good nutrition for improved health among community members

7years work experience with Lonhro cotton in Agriculture.
